What does one need, quick and dirty, to get a flagging language tutoring gig off the ground during the Covid-19 pandemic?
Clearly the answer is to go virtual, like it or not!
Our solution is a mini-flyer to help spread the word out, both digitally and posted in the community via bulletin boards, which is paired with a basic website — ASLWithJulie.com — to offer further information.
Business cards, too, comes handy as she networks with other interpreting agencies and businesses, providing employee-inclusive training and advocating accessible, visible communication for all.
Since being launched in December 2020, a local TV news featured Julie which garnered a lot of attention to her and her website. There are plans to update the website to accommodate the growing interest.
Task List:
- One-page website
- Keep it simple and fun
- Concise information
