Because not everyone keeps all of their yearbooks or class photographs — lost due to move, destroyed, forever misplaced, burnt in fires, chewed by a dog (or cat), and so on, MNMLife.org is a repository of yearbooks and photographs for a school — Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf in New York.
I rebuilt this alumni site from scratch, with the yearbook photos and images transferred over. All of the school’s yearbook covers are placed on the front page for quick access to any specific year of memories and are also optimally designed to not take up much space on mobile devices.
MNMLife.org is now a site where the alumni can easily stroll down the virtual memory lanes on the website and enjoy reminiscing their times at the school.
Task List:
- Update the old website (2003-2018) which had grown old and visually unappealing.
- Replace the long and confusing domain name.
- An easier and improved navigation to school yearbooks.
- Post announcements on social media of updates to the website.
